Maqaam's first exhibition

Maqaam Foundation's first exhibition, held at Arpana Art Gallery in New Delhi on 17 July 2022 — twelve days after the Foundation was formally registered as an NGO.

Seventy-six artists took part. It set the pattern for everything that followed: artists with disabilities and neurodiverse artists shown beside their peers, in a public gallery, not a side room.
